Top Compact Track Loader Attachments – Part 2

Continuing from part 1…

Tree Fork – When attached to the compact track loader, the tree fork can be used for handling trees, large plants, decorative stones or rocks, boulders and other odd shaped objects. This attachment comes with a hydraulic arm that catches and holds objects closely to a second rigid arm. It is very useful attachment, one that enables the compact track loader to lift, lower and move different kinds of materials on at the job site.

Root Grapple – This attachment enables fast completion of the replacement and the renovation landscape tasks. It can be used for many purposes such as to separate brush, rocks, roots, debris from sand, gravel and for other types of soil. The skeletal design of the root grapple allows the material to fall between the teeth of the attachment.

Box Blade – The classic box blade is designed to be used for rough grading actions. It can be easily raised or lowered when attached on the compact track loader. Some new models today come with cutting edge technology like laser controlling systems for ultimate grading results. These laser attachment models have the ability to grade with superior accuracy of +/- 0.5cm.

Pallet Fork – The pallet fork is being described as the most useful and versatile attachment for the compact track loader. It can be used for many tasks such as for lifting, carrying and transferring pallets of fertilizers, sods, concrete bricks and blocks and also for carrying different kinds of plants.

Landscape Rake – The landscape rake enables the operator of the compact track loader to finish effectively any kind of action just with one movement of the loader. It can be used for collecting debris on the surface. Also this attachment levels, rakes and makes surfaces smooth. Usually, the landscape rakes come with a top cover which can be opened for easy dumping.

Spreader – The loader spreader can be used for distributing dry materials like seeds and fertilizers on the surface. The spreader allows the operator of the compact track loader to spread large amounts of materials on the ground.

Dumping Hopper – With the dumping hopper, the compact track loader can easily move big quantities of different materials like gravel or sand in places other big machines cannot access. This special attachment saves lot of time and labor effort because it eliminates the need for a shovel and a wheelbarrow. The dumping hopper can be moved easily.

Soil Conditioner – For a lawn renovation projects, the soil conditioner is the ideal attachment. It can be used for tearing out old sod, to pulverize dirt, to grade, to level the ground and also, to fill holes within the ground. This attachment can be used in both directions, forward and reverse. The soil conditioner separates debris and rocks while leveling the ground. Some soil conditioner models come with hydraulic arm for excellent angle control.

Auger – An auger attachment is generally required when the compact track loader is being used as a digging machine for a large number of holes. The auger saves labor effort and time when trees need to be planted. Many auger attachments come with knuckle joint which allows the auger to hang plump in situations when the compact track loader is moving on uneven terrains.
